Cheryl Woodson is a geriatrician, author, and family caregiver. She taught and practiced geriatric medicine across the entire health care continuum for 40 years while raising a family and caring for a parent with dementia. She is a board member of the National Council on Aging and has worked with academic, private, community, and government entities on aging, clinical education, family caregiving, care management, medical ethics, encouraging all women, and avoiding professional burnout. Woodson is a multi-award-winning author in fiction and non-fiction, has a second degree black belt, and focuses on how to live out loud and age excellently.
