Broderick Johnson is assistant to the president and a cabinet secretary. He chairs the White House’s My Brother’s Keeper Task Force, which disseminates best practices and implements strategies to support communities in efforts to expand opportunity for youth. Johnson has held positions in both the public and private sectors. During the Clinton administration, he served as deputy assistant to the president for legislative affairs. He also worked in the US Congress, including as chief Democratic counsel for two House committees. Johnson was a vice president at AT&T and Bell South corporations. He also was a partner with a large international law firm and co-founded a strategic consulting business.
