Bill Maher is the host of “Real Time with Bill Maher.” Previously, he hosted “Politically Incorrect” from 1993 to 2002, executive produced the HBO series “Vice” and featured in “Religulous.” Maher started his career as a stand-up comedian in 1979. He still performs at least 50 stand-up dates a year as well as on specials for HBO. Maher is also host of the podcast “Club Random with Bill Maher.” Author of five best-selling books, including “True Story” and “Does Anybody Have a Problem with That? Politically Incorrect’s Greatest Hits,” his forthcoming book is “What This Comedian Said Will Shock You.” Maher won his first Emmy in 2014. In 2023, Mediaite named him the sixth most influential person in media.
