Arpit Dwivedi is the founder and CEO of Cache Energy, a start-up that’s developing ultra-long-duration energy-storage technology. He was previously a graduate research assistant at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned his PhD on developing compact thermal energy-storage systems. Dwivedi also founded METNMAT Research & Innovations, a materials-engineering consultancy to develop new products and turnkey solutions for industry. He has held a research internship at Pohang University of Science and Technology in Korea and a fellowship at the Max Planck Institute in Germany, among other experience.
