Anne Penson is the executive director of reintegration services at the New York City Department of Correction. There, she oversees programs and partnerships with nonprofits that administer re-entry services. Penson’s leadership ensures that each individual who comes into custody receives targeted services, including jail-based and community-based programming, and supports a successful re-entry into the community. Prior to this, she held leadership roles at social services organizations including Safe Horizon, Homes for the Homeless and Bowery Residents’ Committee.
