Anna Hiatt

​Anna Hiatt is executive editor of Covering Climate Now, a global journalism collaboration strengthening coverage of the climate story with more than 500 partner outlets worldwide. She’s also a contributing editor at The Nation magazine, where she was formerly the executive digital editor. Prior to that, Hiatt was editorial director of The War Horse, which she co-founded, and founding publisher of The Big Roundtable (now The Delacorte Review). From 2013 to 2016, she was the digital journalist for a multiplatform documentary project, The Truth About Trees. Hiatt has been a research fellow at the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia Journalism School, where she was adjunct faculty. She’s also worked as a commercial photographer, photojournalist, and freelance reporter and producer.​
