Anikah McLaren is executive vice president of narrative film for Participant media company, which is committed to entertainment with socially relevant themes. Prior to this, she was senior vice president of production at Searchlight Pictures, where she oversaw 2018’s The Old Man and the Gun. McLaren was previously a production executive at Universal Pictures, where she worked on a wide variety of films, including Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Bourne Legacy, and Lone Survivor. She has also held positions at Focus Features and Miramax Films. McLaren is a member of the Executive Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and is on the executive panel of the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women.
