Andy Bird is CEO of Pearson education publishing and assessment company. Prior to this, he spent 14 years as president and then chairman of Walt Disney International, helping transform the organization into a digital-first, direct-to-consumer business. Previously, Bird held senior positions at AOL Time Warner, including co-president of TBS International and president of Entertainment Network Europe. Earlier in his career, he worked in radio and broadcasting at Piccadilly Radio, Virgin Broadcasting Company, BSB Music Channel, Big and Good Productions, and Unique Broadcasting. A trustee of The Paley Center for Media, Bird’s honors include the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award.
