Amie Batson is chief strategy officer, vice president of strategy and learning, and acting vice president of technology development and introduction for PATH. Previously, she was senior deputy assistant administrator for global health at the US Agency for International Development, leading its engagement in the President’s Global Health Initiative, representing the US government on the GAVI board, and helping convene the Child Survival Call to Action. At the World Bank, Batson’s contributions to immunization and vaccine financing resulted in billions of dollars in new funding for global health, the establishment of GAVI, and the vaccination of millions of children. Her 25-year career in global health also includes positions with WHO and UNICEF.
