Alysa Nahmias
Founder, Director, and Producer, AJNA Films; Director, The New Bauhaus
Alysa Nahmias is the founder of AJNA Films. A filmmaker, her directing credits include Art and Krimes by Krimes, The New Bauhaus, and Unfinished Spaces, which won a 2012 Independent Spirit Award and is in the permanent collection at Museum of Modern Art, New York. As a producer, Nahmias’s work includes the forthcoming Untitled Wildcat Documentary and Unrest, which won a Special Jury Award at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. She also produced No Light and No Land Anywhere and the documentaries I Didn’t See You There, What We Left Unfinished, and Afternoon of a Faun: Tanaquil LeClercq, among others. Nahmias is a founding member of FWD-Doc, and a Documentary Producers Alliance and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences member.
