Alina Salganicoff

Senior Vice President and Director, Women's Health Policy, KFF

Alina Salganicoff is senior vice president and director of women’s health policy at KFF, where she focuses on coverage and access challenges facing underserved and marginalized women and on sexual and reproductive health. Salganicoff has written and lectured extensively on issues ranging from maternity care and reproductive health services to aging and long-term care. She has served on federal, state, and nonprofit advisory committees, including NASEM committees on abortion quality and safety, STIs, and women’s health research, as well as on the Institute of Medicine committee that issued recommendations for women’s preventive services covered under the Affordable Care Act. She is a member of the Advisory Panel of ACOG’s Women’s Preventive Services Initiative, on the Public Policy Advisory Group of Power to Decide, and an associate editor of Women’s Health Issues.
