Nathaniel Stinnett

Founder and Executive Director, Environmental Voter Project

Nathaniel Stinnett is founder and executive director of the Environmental Voter Project, a nonpartisan nonprofit that uses data analytics and behavioral science to mobilize environmentalists to vote. He is a frequent speaker on campaign techniques and the behavioral science behind getting people to vote. Prior to starting the Environmental Voter Project in 2014, Stinnett held senior leadership and campaign manager positions on U.S. Senate, Congressional, state and mayoral campaigns, including campaign manager for John Connolly’s bid for mayor of Boston in 2013. He sits on the board of advisors for MIT’s Environmental Solutions Initiative, was named one of five global “climate visionaries” by The New York Times in 2018, and was dubbed “The Voting Guru” by Grist magazine.
