Chairman, Executive Partner Group, Solamere Capital
Mitt Romney is chairman of Solamere Capital’s executive partner group and serves on the board of directors of Marriott International. A past Republican candidate for president of the United States, he was governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007. Previously, Romney was president and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He started his business career in 1978 as a vice president of Bain & Company management consulting firm based in Boston. In 1984, he left Bain & Company to co-found a spin-off private equity investment company, Bain Capital. Romney serves on the board of advisors of the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases.
