John Porcari is co-founder of Equity in Infrastructure Project, a nonprofit creating generational wealth opportunities for historically underutilized businesses through CEO pledges. Prior to this, he was the White House port and supply chain envoy for the Biden administration. In this role, Porcari led operational and policy changes to relieve pandemic-induced stresses on the U.S. supply chain. Previously, he was deputy secretary and chief operating officer of the U.S. Department of Transportation in the Obama administration. Earlier in his career, Porcari was secretary of the Maryland Department of Transportation from 1999 to 2003 and again from 2007 to 2009. Co-chair of the Aviation Supply Chain Integrity Coalition, he is a MITRE Aviation advisory committee member and Vantage Airport Group board member.
