Jamie Beard
Founder and Executive Director, Project InnerSpace
Jamie Beard is the founder and executive director of Project InnerSpace, working for geothermal energy’s global growth and development. An energy and regulatory attorney, she is also principal investigator of a U.S. Department of Energy grant focused on transferring oil and gas technology to geothermal energy. Beard is the founder of the Geothermal Entrepreneurship Organization and the PIVOT from Hydrocarbons to Heat conference series. A public speaker, she gave a SXSW talk about the oil and gas industry’s role in building the future of geothermal energy and a TED talk on the same topic in 2021. Beard was featured in a 2023 issue of Wired.
