James Manyika

James Manyika is a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, director of the McKinsey Global Institute, and a nonresident senior fellow of Brookings Institution. Based in Silicon Valley for 20 years, he has led research on the digital economy, growth and productivity, trade, and labor markets. President Obama appointed him vice chair of the Global Development Council, and he has served two US commerce secretaries, on the Digital Economy Board and Innovation Advisory Board. Manyika sits on the boards of the Council on Foreign Relations, Aspen Institute, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Markle Foundation, Oxford Internet Institute, and MIT’s Initiative on the Digital Economy. (Festival Underwriter Presenter)
