Andrew McAfee is a principal research scientist at MIT and co-founder of its Initiative on the Digital Economy. He studies how digital technologies are changing business, the economy, and society and co-authored a New York Times best-selling book on the topic: The Second Machine Age: Work, Progress, and Prosperity in a Time of Brilliant Technologies. McAfee also writes two blogs, academic papers, and articles for publications including Harvard Business Review, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. He has talked about his work on “The Charlie Rose Show” and “60 Minutes.”
