Spanning arts, science, the economy, diplomacy, democracy, and certainly the present juncture our society is in, the experts and leaders we will bring to the digital Aspen Ideas stage include Anna Deavere Smith, Anthony Fauci, Madeleine Albright, Kai-Fu Lee, Krista Tippett, Michael Eric Dyson, William McRaven, Maria Ressa, Brian Greene, Lulu Miller, Erik Larson, and John McWhorter, for starters. Sign up to receive program updates.

A Public Conference in 2021

The Festival will return to Aspen in 2021. Here's what you can expect.

Presented by the Aspen Institute in partnership with The Atlantic, the Aspen Ideas Festival is the nation's premier, public gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to present and discuss the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times.

Anyone may purchase a pass to attend; the Aspen Ideas Festival is open to all. The Aspen Ideas Festival takes place on the Aspen Institute's Aspen Meadows campus and in venues throughout the city of Aspen, Colorado.

The dates for the 2021 event in Aspen are as follows (they are subject to change):
