Making the Grade: Helping Kids (and Parents) Thrive
Today's kids are coming of age against a backdrop of political, social, technological, and economic upheaval. While these circumstances are shaping a precocious generation that is changing society and redefining cultural norms, kids are also struggling with mental health issues, the pressures of social media, and the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 on key developmental years. At the same time, being a parent is more challenging than ever. Workplace demands and the shortage of affordable daycare and paid leave policies all put enormous strains on families. How can we better support children, parents, and families? What do we need to learn from younger generations in order to help them thrive?
