Soli Solutions

Soli Solutions, Inc. is a proud underwriter of the 2022 Aspen Ideas Festival.

Soli Solutions, Inc. was founded on the belief that in this era of the purpose driven consumer where consumers expect that brands align with their personal values and stand for something bigger than what they sell, they are by in large being left out of sustainability and climate initiatives.

Initially incubated at Boston University with help from faculty at the Harvard Business School, MIT and Babson, Soli was granted a patent in 2013 for fractionalizing pollution credit for use as a marketing incentive. With a focus on higher education, Soli was launched in 2017 as a way for universities to engage students, staff, faculty and alumni of colleges and universities to help fight climate change while at the same time help the colleges and universities reach their carbon neutrality commitments. Soli partnered with local retailers as well as national brands including Starbucks, CVS, Radio Shack, Panera Bread, and Barnes and Noble. Soli broadened the program, in 2019, and allowed members of the general public to offset their personal carbon footprint.

Today, recognizing that there is an increasing opportunity to use the company’s unique patented technology to engage vast numbers of consumers in authentic climate initiatives, Soli works with major corporations, turning their sustainability goals into targeted, ROI-driven marketing solutions. Soli is a sustainability transaction processor, providing companies with sustainability products and services, and sourcing verified and certified carbon offsets from trusted providers.

Soli’s technology breaks up bulk carbon offsets into fractional units. These units are used as incentives and rewards in targeted marketing programs that directly engage with consumers, significantly expanding and accelerating the ability of individual consumers to make a difference, while turning corporate sustainability expenses into consumer-activation marketing with measurable ROI.

Soli is a member of the UN Global Compact, the American Sustainable Business Council, and Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). In addition, the company has partnerships with the Adirondack Council, the National Wildlife Foundation, and Second Nature.
