Ted Sarandos oversees content acquisition for Netflix, a job he has held since 2000. In 2013, he led the transformation of Netflix into an original content producer with releases “House of Cards” and “Orange is the New Black,” and was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People that year. He has been a producer or executive producer of documentaries and independent films, including the Emmy-nominated “Outrage” and “Tony Bennett: The Music Never Ends.” He serves on the board of Exploring The Arts, the executive committee of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the film advisory board for Tribeca and Los Angeles Film Festival.
