Stephanie Goodrid Lawson is executive director of the McKinney Family Foundation, overseeing its strategies in environmental justice, climate solutions and strengthening democracy for Indiana communities. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Previously, Lawson worked in advancement for Eskenazi Health Foundation and Indiana University. Earlier in her career, Lawson worked at the Center for the Prevention of Genocide in Washington, D.C., and International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent in Geneva. A public speaker, she has presented at the Climate Infrastructure Forum and Climate and Energy Funders Group gatherings, among other conferences. Chair of the Indiana Energy Independence Fund, Lawson’s recognition includes the 2022 Hoosier Resilience Hero Award.
