Sharon Brownie

Sharon Brownie is a member of the PRAXIS Forum at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford, and an adjunct professor of Griffith University School of Medicine. A registered nurse and midwife, she has held senior leadership roles across the health, education, economic development, and employment sectors over the past 30 years. Brownie was previously the dean of nursing and midwifery for Aga Khan University, East Africa, providing leadership to campuses and faculty teams in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda and projects on the African continent. Prior to this, Brownie was professor of workforce and health services, leading the nursing program at Fatima College of Health Sciences, Abu Dhabi.
