Satya Nadella is CEO of Microsoft, a position he has held since 2014. Previously, he held leadership roles in enterprise and consumer businesses across the company, most recently as executive vice president of Microsoft’s cloud and enterprise group. In this role, Nadella led the transformation to the cloud infrastructure and services business, responsible for building and running the company’s computing platforms, developer tools, and cloud computing services. Previously, he led research and development for the online services division and was vice president of the Microsoft business division. Before joining Microsoft in 1992, he was a member of the technology staff at Sun Microsystems.
