
Sanjai Sinha is associate professor of clinical medicine in the department of medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and an internist at The Health Center at Hudson Yards in New York City. Previously, Sanjai practiced at Weill Cornell/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he focused on both patient care and teaching medical students and residents. His medical experience also includes conducting research, caring for New York City’s most vulnerable populations and participating in quality improvement projects. Over more than 20 years in academic medicine, Sanjai’s published articles have focused on improving patient outcomes, including discharge from the hospital, health literacy and systemic barriers. He has received numerous awards and honors, including a national commendation for relief work during Hurricane Katrina. A fellow of the American College of Physicians, Sanjai has consistently been named to New York Magazine’s “Top Doctors” list. (Mount Sinai Health System is a 2025 Festival Underwriter)
