Russell Muirhead is the Robert Clements Professor of Democracy and Politics at Dartmouth College, a position he has held since 2009. He teaches courses on American political thought and philosophic foundations of constitutional democracy. Muirhead was previously a professor at The University of Texas at Austin, where he taught courses on the history of political thoughts and themes in contemporary politics. He has also taught at Harvard University and Williams College. Muirhead is the author of The Promise of Party in a Polarized Age and Just Work. He is currently working on a book about conspiratorial thinking and the delegitimation of democracy.
