Robin Wright is a joint fellow at the US Institute of Peace and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. A contributing writer at The New Yorker, she has reported from over 140 countries for The Washington Post, CBS News, The New York Times Magazine, Foreign Affairs, and many others. Previously, Wright was a Brookings Institution, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Yale, Duke, Stanford, and the University of California fellow. Wright is the author of several books, including Rock the Casbah: Rage and Rebellion across the Islamic World. Her recognition includes the UN Correspondents Association Gold Medal, National Magazine Award, and National Press Club award. Wright is a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation awardee.
