Rob Stein is superintendent of the Roaring Fork School District. He has worked on the front lines of education reform for over 30 years, as a teacher, administrator, university professor, and educational consultant. Stein led a high-profile turnaround effort at Manual High School and has served as head of school at Graland Country Day School and executive director at Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning, all in Denver. He has taught courses in educational leadership and school reform at University of Colorado, Denver University, and Harvard Graduate School of Education. Stein has published, presented, and consulted locally and nationally on organizational development, school leadership, research-based practice and school change.
