Rik Kirkland is director of publishing at McKinsey & Company, leading the firm’s global print and online activities since 2008. These include the McKinsey Quarterly, mckinsey.com, and the McKinsey Insights apps and books such as No Ordinary Disruption, Resource Revolution, and Reimagining India. From 2000 to 2005, Kirkland was editor of Fortune magazine, where he worked for more than two decades and served as Washington editor, Europe editor, international editor, and deputy editor. He has been a frequent guest on CNN and CNBC and a moderator at the Davos World Economic Forum, Fortune’s Global Forum, and the Microsoft CEO Summit. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
