Co-Director and Co-Founder, Power House Productions; Artist, Design 99
Gina Reichert is co-founder and director of Power House Productions, an artist-run, neighborhood-based nonprofit organization in Detroit. She and her partner, Mitch Cope, also form the mom-and-pop art and design studio, Design 99, specializing in sustainable residential design and installation art, transforming spaces and structures through direct and limited means. Reichert has worked for architecture firms and community organizations in Cincinnati, New Orleans, New York, and Detroit. Her work has been published and exhibited worldwide, including in The New York Times and Domus magazine, on CNN and NPR, and at the Van Abbemuseum, Smart Museum, Detroit Institute of Art, and the Mattress Factory.
