Phumzile Sitole

Actress

Phumzile Sitole is an actress from Johannesburg, South Africa and an MFA student in acting at Columbia University. Alongside her theater work, she works as a voice-over artist for various television and radio commercials and is a member of Clowns Without Borders, a nonprofit group that brings comic relief to underprivileged children in and around rural Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. After completing her undergraduate degree in theater and performance from the University of Cape Town, Sitole spent a year and a half working in her home country on stages such as the Market Theatre and the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.
