Paul Bakus is president of Nestlé Corporate Affairs and leads US public engagement efforts. He is responsible for public affairs, communications, and government relations, as well as scientific, regulatory, and nutrition affairs. Bakus has held numerous marketing roles for brands in other Nestlé divisions, including PetCare and Prepared Foods, and prior to moving into his current position was general manager of Nestlé Baking Division and then president of the Nestlé Pizza Division. He serves on the board of the American Frozen Food Institute, is co-chair of the Institute of Medicine’s Roundtable on Obesity Solutions CEO Innovation Collaborative, and is a program advisor to the Clinton Global Initiative.
