Niyum Gandhi is executive vice president and chief population health officer at Mount Sinai Health System, overseeing its transition from a primarily fee-for-service model of care to one focused on value and risk-based population health, by aligning the system’s clinical and economic transformations to support Mount Sinai’s goal of being a leading population health manager. Prior to joining Mount Sinai in 2015, Gandhi was a partner at Oliver Wyman for nearly nine years, working with health care providers to help them design and implement value-based clinical models, develop value-based contracts and integrated product-distribution strategies, align physician incentives toward value, and establish appropriate infrastructure to support population health management.
