Nancy-Ann DeParle is managing partner and co-founder of Consonance Capital Partners and a director of HCA Healthcare and several Consonance portfolio companies. Previously, DeParle was assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for policy for President Barack Obama. She also served as counselor to the president and director of the White House Office of Health Reform and led the Obama Administration’s successful effort to enact the Affordable Care Act. In the Clinton Administration DeParle was administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and associate director for health and personnel at the White House Office of Management and Budget. Earlier in her career, she was commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Human Services. DeParle serves on the Duke University Board of Trustees and the New York State Commission on the Future of Health Care.
