Michelangelo Cestari
Partner and Board Member, Grupo Gustu; Co-Founder, Melting Pot Bolivia
Michelangelo Cestari is a partner and board member of Grupo Gusto, an umbrella company for Restaurant Gustu and Q’atu bakeries in La Paz, Bolivia, of which he was CEO from 2012 to 2017. In 2012, he co-founded Melting Pot Bolivia, a subsidiary of gastronomic entrepreneur Claus Meyer’s Danish Melting Pot Foundation that launched the Gustu projects, as well as Manq’a Schools and community eateries, MIGA Association, Tambo Gastronomic Festival, Suma-Phayata Street Food, and other initiatives that steer a food movement to improve economic and social opportunities. Previously, Cestari worked in Michelin-starred restaurants including Mugaritz (San Sebastian, Spain), Le Manoir aux Quat'saisons (Oxford, England), Au-Crocodile (Strasbourg, France), and Geranium and Relæ (Copenhagen).
