Michael O. Leavitt is founder and chairman of Leavitt Partners, where he helps clients navigate the future as they transition to new models of care. In previous roles, he served as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency and secretary of health and human services in the cabinet of President George W. Bush and as a three-time elected governor of Utah. At HHS, Leavitt led the implementation of the Medicare Part D prescription drug program. As the nation’s longest-serving governor, Utah was recognized six times as one of the best-managed states. He was chosen by his peers as chairman of the National Governors Association, Western Governors Association, and Republican Governors Association.
