David M. Rubensten Senior Fellow for Energy and the Environment and Director of the Program on Energy Security and Climate Change, Council on Foreign Relations
Michael Levi is the David M. Rubenstein Senior Fellow for Energy and the Environment at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and director of the CFR Program on Energy Security and Climate Change. As of July 1, he is director of the CFR’s Maurice R. Greenberg Center for Geoeconomic Studies. Earlier in his career, Levi’s research and writing focused on arms control and nuclear terrorism. He was previously a fellow for science and technology at Brookings Institution. Levi is the author of four books, most recently The Power Surge: Energy, Opportunity, and the Battle for America’s Future.
