Meade Palidofsky
Founder and Artistic Director, Storycatchers Theatre
Meade Palidofsky is founder and artistic director of Storycatchers Theatre in Chicago. Since 1990, she has collaborated with the juvenile-justice community to develop creative nonfiction and performing arts programs for court-involved youth. Palidofsky has received a National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, the Theatre and Social Change Award, and recognition as a Chicago Community Trust Experienced Leader Fellow. Her work with incarcerated teens has been profiled on the radio programs “This American Life” and “Humankind” as well as in the Emmy award-winning PB&J documentary “Girls on the Wall.”
