Maryjane Wurth is executive vice president and COO of the American Hospital Association, where in addition to providing overall strategic direction, she advances an agenda for innovation and transformation, including leading the AHA Center for Health Innovation, launched in 2018. Prior to AHA, Wurth was president and CEO of the Illinois Hospital Association, during which she founded its Institute for Innovations in Care and Quality, among other achievements. Previously, Wurth had a 20-year career at the Healthcare Association of New York State, where she was COO and CEO of HANYS Solutions, its business subsidiary. She began her health care career in hospice care.
