Luc Debruyne is president of global vaccines at GSK, a position he was appointed to in 2013. He joined GSK in 1991 and worked as a commercial strategy director in R&D, and since then has served in multiple capacities in many countries. Prior to his current role, he was appointed senior vice president of GSK Pharma Europe in 2012. Debruyne is a member of the IFPMA Vaccines CEO Roundtable and of the Belgian Federation of Enterprises’ management committee. He has previously co-chaired the EFPIA and has been a member of the board of Italy’s Farmindustria and its equivalent in The Netherlands, NEFARMA.
