Laurence Fink is a co-founder, chairman, and CEO of BlackRock, which has become the world’s largest asset management company. Prior to starting BlackRock with seven partners in 1988, he was a member of the management committee and a managing director of The First Boston Corporation. Fink is co-chairman of the NYU Langone Medical Center board and serves on the boards of New York University, the Museum of Modern Art, Council on Foreign Relations, and The Nature Conservancy, among other service. He has been named one of the World's Greatest Leaders by Fortune, and Barron’s has named him one of the World's Best CEOs for twelve consecutive years.
