Laur Hesse Fisher is vice president of impact and learning at DeployUS, a nonprofit bolstering organizations working right of center on climate with a goal of achieving bipartisan climate policy. Prior to this, she founded the MIT Climate Change Engagement Program. There, Fisher launched climate.mit.edu, the Webby award-winning platform climateprimer.mit.edu, and MIT's environmental solutions journalism fellowship. She is also the host of TILclimate (Today I Learned: Climate), MIT's climate change podcast. Specializing in depolarizing climate action in the United States, Fisher has built climate engagement programming with community leaders and governors of coal-producing states. A public speaker on climate engagement, she has addressed the White House and the United Nations.
