Latondra Newton is group vice president, social innovation officer, and chief diversity officer of Toyota Motor North America, leading an integrated, holistic social-responsibility strategy for the company. She is chief program officer of Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMA), established in 2014 to advance freedom of mobility, and is on the board of the Toyota USA Foundation, which has a $100 million endowment to support K-12 STEM education. Newton was previously group vice president and chief diversity officer at TMA, among several other leadership positions. She joined Toyota in 1991 as a capital equipment buyer.
