Kurt Andersen is the author of three novels, including True Believers and the best-sellers Heyday and Turn of the Century. His nonfiction books include Reset, The Real Thing, and the forthcoming Fantasyland: How America Went Haywire: A 500-Year History. He has written for television and the theater, is host and co-creator of the award-winning public radio program “Studio 360,” and regularly contributes to The New York Times and Vanity Fair. Previously, he was a columnist for The New Yorker and TIME, editor in chief and a columnist at New York, andco-founded and edited Spy magazine. He sits on the boards of Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and Pratt Institute.
