Kristy Crooks is the director of the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine Biobank and director of the Heritable Disease section of the Colorado Molecular Correlates Laboratory at the University of Colorado. She is board certified in clinical molecular genetics and clinical cytogenetics by the American Board of Genetics and Genomics. Crooks’s research interests focus primarily on the application of emerging technologies for disease diagnosis and on leveraging population screening to improve health outcomes. She was previously CLIA laboratory director for ILS Genomics and associate technical director of LabCorp, and completed clinical laboratory fellowships at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
