Kirsten Axelsen is vice president of global policy at Pfizer. She leads a team that analyzes how changes in health policy affect Pfizer, health care providers, and their patients and offers strategic guidance based on the analysis. She also serves on Pfizer’s Real World Data Steering Committee. Axelson began her career at Pfizer in 2000. She was previously a consultant with Arthur Andersen, from 1998 to 2000. Axelson’s work has been published in journals including the American Journal of Managed Care and Pharmacoeconomics. In 2006, she was awarded a Global Health Fellowship to work with the International Trachoma Initiative in Ethiopia. (Festival Underwriter Presenter)
