Executive Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Mount Sinai Health System

Kenneth L. Davis is executive vice chairman of the boards of trustees of the Mount Sinai Health System, one of the nation’s largest integrated health systems, which includes the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, eight hospitals and more than 400 ambulatory sites. Davis is a leader in the move away from fee-for-service medicine to population health, with the aim of keeping more patients healthy and out of the hospital. A neurobiologist, Davis is one of the most cited researchers in the field of brain diseases. His pioneering research led the FDA to approve four of the first five drugs for treating Alzheimer’s disease. In 2002, Davis was elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. He received the George H. W. Bush Lifetime of Leadership Award from Yale University and is a trustee of the Aspen Institute. (Mount Sinai is a 2025 Festival Underwriter)
