Ken Goldberg is craigslist Distinguished Professor of New Media at UC Berkeley, where he directs the Automation Sciences Research lab, and faculty director of the CITRIS Data and Democracy Initiative. He is editor in chief of IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering; co-founder of the African Robotics Network, Berkeley Center for New Media, Hybrid Wisdom Labs, and the Moxie Institute; and founding director of UC Berkeley’s Art, Technology, and Culture Lecture Series. Goldberg’s art installations have been exhibited widely and he co-wrote three Sundance documentaries. Honors include the Presidential Faculty Fellowship and the National Science Foundation Faculty Fellowship.
