Vice President, Movers and Shakespeares; Former US Ambassador to the United Nations
Kenneth Adelman is vice president of Movers and Shakespeares, which conducts executive training through leadership lessons from Shakespeare. He began teaching Shakespeare in 1977 at Georgetown University. Adelman is author or co-author of six books, including Shakespeare in Charge and Reagan at Reykjavik. During the Reagan administration, he served as an ambassador to the United Nations and as director of the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. While living in Africa, he translated for Muhammad Ali at the “Rumble in the Jungle.” Adelman is executive director of the Aspen Institute’s Arts & Ideas series and serves on the board of the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
