Justin Wolfers

Associate Professor of Economics, Business and Public Policy, The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania

Justin Wolfers is an associate professor of economics in the Business and Public Policy Department at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a visiting professor of economics at Princeton University. He is a senior fellow of the Brookings Institution, co-editor of the Brookings Papers on Economic Activity, a visiting scholar with the San Francisco Federal Reserve, and a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research. Wolfers’s research focuses on labor economics, macroeconomics, law and economics, social policy, and behavioral economics. He holds research fellowships at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany, and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Wolfers is a research affiliate with the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London and a fellow of the CESifo Group in Munich. He was previously an assistant professor at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and an economist with the Reserve Bank of Australia.
